Who We Are

The Africa National Chamber of Commerce (ANCOC) is a progressive, people-first organization connecting the African diaspora to economic opportunity locally in Charlotte and globally across continents.

Why We Exist

Mission

To bring about social capital and diaspora partnerships by offering economic development globally and expansion opportunities across the board for businesses of all sizes and individuals in our community  with every intent to build brand affinity & identity and creating cultural awareness that will help strengthen good governance.

ANCOC is a 501(c)(6) tax-exempt organization. Contributions or dues paid to ANCOC are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes; however, they may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses.

We are building a financially fit community, one where African diaspora businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals have the tools, relationships, and resources to compete, grow, and thrive on a global stage.

Investors Community Relations

Create dynamic relationships between businesses and the chamber. Develop a robust database to include history, research, and maintain retention.

Connect Resources

Bridge relationships between businesses, associations, and NPO/NGOs through innovative events. Offer flexible succession plans for memberships and strategize with community, civic engagement, and local precincts.

Build Brand Affinity

A communications plan that mobilizes workforce production, deploys culturally sensitive technology tools, and rewards financial achievement. Promote and document education and economic mobility.

Train for Fair Decisions

Train human resources staff on making fair decisions regarding applicants with justice‑system involvement, helping strengthen equity and access across the workforce.

How We Work

ANCOC structures business situations and coordinates with both private sector and large corporations — focusing on economic development and growth opportunities that create a flow-through process for millennials, educators, nonprofit organizations, entrepreneurships, and small businesses. We cater to businesses in various industry sectors aligned with our vision, mission, goals, and plans — being intentional about making a difference within the community internationally abroad.
